+ | For my final project I created a small collection of beats using FL Studio 20. Given that I enjoy listening to hip-hop in my spare time, I wanted to try and produce more of that genre myself. They are original beats that have been created within the last 2 or 3 weeks. Many different technical components were used during this project, with MIDI being primarily used to create any instrument tracks, but audio samples being utilized as well. I am confident in some of the skills I used, such as using MIDI, certain effects such as EQ's, and my general knowledge of music theory. This all comes from previous experience with FL Studio. I am still struggling with other effects, such as compression, as well as recording and manipulating audio clips within a DAW. This proved to be an overall struggle when creating the music, as I wanted to incorporate these effects as much as possible. | ||
