Pure Water - Migos X Remix

A remix is when a certain composition or musical piece is mixed to alter the original version. In order to make a remix, you must have the proper tools ad softwares to make it possible. To create the one shown below, a Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 dj board was used. Not any normal software can be used with this to create real tracks, upload mp3 files to save into playlists and to have music readily available to add and play. Serato DJ Pro is a software that requires a yearly subscription to of up to $250 per year. If at the right time, a discount is available usually around December.

First, the mp3 version of Purewater by Migos was added on track on Serato Pro. It was then completely went through and changed, by using filters, loops, cuts and even changing the tempo of the entire piece. This happened multiple times where each altered piece was saved, then altered even more. Eventually, it was added into garage band where extra sound effects that were not downloaded on the dj board already could be added. Garage band also allowed for the change of bpm for the whole piece at one time.

In this case, I remixed Pure Water by Migos, a very popular hip hop/rap song in today's music industry.
