Beatles Historical Video - Alex Thurley

For my final project, I created a short biography on the Beatles. This project contains a voice-over providing a history of the band, videos and images of the band, and selections of the group's music. This project involves skills I have already learned in this class, which include mixing music, recording audio, and utilizing effects that make the audio more appealing. This project also entailed mixing the recorded voice-over to be audible with a musical background, which involves a knowledge of masking. This project also entailed learning video editing skills, as well as how to effectively match video and audio cues in an effective way. This project also involved learning to seamlessly transition between different pieces of music while aligning these transitions with audio. I learned these skills through a combination of trial and error, and viewing other similar videos to see what works. The final product is a video detailing the history of the Beatles, with a target audience of both historical and musical fans who wish to learn more about the band.
