Final Project

You Raise Me Up

For my project, I took the song “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban, and arranged it into 4 different parts. I then played each of the 4 parts on the cello and combined them. I chose to do this as my project because I have been playing the cello for most of my life so I wanted to do something with it. I chose this song because I used to listen to it a lot when I was younger. The most challenging part of the project was the editing. I recorded one part and then recorded the next parts over it, but it did not always sync up. I would then have to go back and edit it so that everything aligned perfectly.
