Sweet Dreams You Spin Me Round Remix

For this project, I was initially going to mash up a few 80's and 90's songs, but I found it difficult to match the melodies and make everything flow together. So I decided to remix two songs: Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics and You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive. Using Ableton, I overlaid the songs with beat loops, generating some of my own using the drumkits, and I wrote the notes for the heavy bass in the background. I played around with the pitch bend, creating new beats to use, and I rearranged the songs so that the chorus is sung often. I wasn't able to "mash" the two songs together because they didn't match too well together. Instead, I decided to just make a transition half way through from Sweet Dreams to You Spin Me Round.
