This project is for cellists to ensure productive practice of scales, arpeggios, and various other exercises. The patch is, in its essence, a collection of tools. Each tool will play something, then the cellist has time to play it back. For example, if someone wants to practice playing major scales, the patch supports the playing of random major scales, the user simply clicks a button to hear a scale. The use of randomness is what makes this project useful. Ability to play scales in a random, non-sequential order, is a good gauge for competence at said scales. The same principle holds true for arpeggios.

This patch can be used by any cellist with a computer, regardless of operating system, provided that they have Max 8.

Hardware:

-Mac or PC, operating system does not matter.

Software:

- Max 8
