For my final project, I really liked the idea behind the patch used to track the occurrence of certain notes in a prerecorded piece, then play them back randomly but with the same chance of occurrence as they had in the original piece. I had initially been very unsure about how I felt about this class, but through that patch I began to see how cool some of these applications could be. I think I know everything I need to be able to design the second half of the patch. That part seems pretty simple. However, as of now I have no idea of how I might go about inputting a prerecorded piece into Max or how I would go about tracking those notes with the table tool as shown in lab 6. I hope that I will be able to learn these last two skills in a future lab for this class, but if not, I feel that YouTube or a few minutes in office hours would definitely suffice. The deliverable for this project will be both a video recording of the working patch, as well as the patch itself.
