With this project, my goal was to combine both slower ambient music with fast-paced hardcore music. Songs 1 and 2 represent the ambient half, where songs 4 and 5 represent the fast-paced half. Song 3 acts as a bridge between the two. The main tool I used for this project was FL studio, along with its built-in plugins (Sawer, Sytrus, Fruity Reeverb 2, Gross Beat, etc) and one free external VST (Ruina by NoiseEngineering). The music that I aimed to create with this album ranges from spooky (nightfall parts 1 and 2) to adrenaline-pumping (versus) to upbeat (sunny).

Hi! My name is Nick Golparvar, and for my MU2300 final project, I created this 5 song electronic album.

Even considering the 2 week time period in which this was created, this is a very small album and could be greatly expanded upon. The album already contains a few genres listed above, though it could easily have just a few more songs to be turned into a more thorough multigenre electronic project.

I made a video presentation that describes my process in more detail, though it is much larger than the 24MB file size limit for file uploads directly to this wiki page. The alternative is to upload to WPI's media server, though the link to the instructions appears to be down. Also the video on the example wiki page ([[1]]) "could not be played" because of an "error loading media." This leads me to suspect that the WPI media server discussed can't be accessed, so as such, this link to my google drive containing the video will have to suffice for now.

I do want to note that another example page ([Strip Piano]) has its video working, though it is only 22 seconds long and most likely less than 24 MB.
