My final project for Intro to Music Technology has been to create a film score for a few scenes from the original Blade Runner (1978) movie. I focused on two main scenes, the initial flyover shot at the beginning of the film and the resolving scene at the very end of the film. It was tricky to make these two scores because they both required entirely different moods to properly match the visuals. Personally, the establishing shot at the beginning of the film was much harder for me to score because it required a darker and almost confusing tone which took much more time to develop through music. The second scene at the end of the film was more uplifting and favored my composing habits more. All of the sounds and composition were created by me using ableton analog synth and a few other patches. Below is my presentation video followed by the two film clips. The wiki doesn't allow me to upload .als files so I couldn't post the audio itself.
