Description:

For the final project of this class, I wanted to incorporate as many of the past projects' themes as I possibly could. In this song, I took elements from the "Remix" project that we did, taking an acapella and transforming its original genre into something completely different and unique. I took elements from the "Mapping" project by mapping unique sounds and effects and modulations to my brand new MIDI keyboard. This also allowed me to easily incorporate the "Interactivity" project by using those mappings, as well as the actual keys on the keyboard, to perform the song live. I also took elements from the "Arrangement" project by making a complete song with several distinct, flowing parts to it.

This song is affectionately called "Orphan" and will be released to the public (via Soundcloud, iTunes, Spotify, etc.) shortly. Links to my Spotify, Soundcloud, and other social media can be found below:
