Mickey360 is a Max based standalone app that allows the user to use an Xbox 360 controller as an instrument. The controller is programmed to play the C major scale pressing the different buttons. Additionally pressing the D-pad Up/Down allows the user to change the sound of the controller. Pressing D-pad left starts an embedded video, and D-pad right starts a song to play along with. The user can also upload their own video/song by following the onscreen instructions. The app is aimed for young kids who can't really play an actual keyboard yet but who have a strong music tendency. This app bridges the gap between the two allowing them to make music without the need to know how to play a keyboard, and moreover play along to songs and videos of their choosing enhancing the whole experience.
