This song is sung in Greek Orthodox churches on Easter and for 40 days following. I chose this piece to work on because, as far as I know, this hymn is sung in unison and not many people have tried writing harmonies for the piece in the traditional byzantine style. I arranged this piece and edited it in order to sound like it was being played on a church organ in a large Orthodox Cathedral
