The 8 week study focused on Matteo Carcassi's "Study in A Minor" composition.  During the beginning of the course, I had no knowledge of proper classical guitar technique.  Dr. Vincent Manzo instructed me via weekly Skype conferences.  The primary objective of this course was to correct my incorrect playing habits such as posture, right (picking) hand placement, and left (fret) hand orientation.

The 8 week study focused on Matteo Carcassi's "Study in A Minor" composition. During the beginning of the course, I had no knowledge of proper classical guitar technique. The primary objective of this course was to correct my incorrect playing habits such as posture, right (picking) hand placement, and left (fret) hand orientation.

The study served as an excellent practice for tremolo classical guitar picking techniques. It was a great accomplishment to perform and record the entire song at 140 bpm with proper technique and posture.

This course greatly improved my right hand guitar playing, and furthered my musical understanding of classical compositions and how they are to be performed.
