Description:
Originally, this was a song from "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" by Arctic Monkeys, though I have wanted to make a cover of it forever, so I gladly took this chance. I chose to arrange this track with a bossa nova jazz quartet in mind. I first structured out the verse and chorus for drums, keys, and bass, and then played live alto saxophone over the arranged track. In class, I played with just the backing track to emulate this recording, though similarly to the live performance I did this in one take over the backing track for the uploaded recording.
