Justine Moy - MU 2300 Final
File:final.studio.wav File:final.ableton.wav File:finalvid.mp4 For my final project, I created 2 lofi songs. Because some of my projects were lofi-inspired, I wanted to continue with that style because I am familiar with it. The audience will be other students who often play calming lofi music in the background while studying/ doing work, like I do. I used Ableton and FL Studio, one for each composition. I experimented more with MIDI to record the instruments as well as compression, EQ, reverb, looping, and other provided audio effects to alter the recordings. I have experience with using samples to create songs in GarageBand, keyboard typing to create MIDI recordings, and a little bit of music theory knowledge. However, I needed to do further research because I wanted one of the songs to be heavily piano based. Also, I needed to learn more about Ableton since I’ve only used it once and I never used FL Studio, but I wanted to try it.
