ez The fledgling nonprofit Giving Grove has planted 20 micro-orchards over the past year. Many of these groves are in low-income communities where access to fresh produce is limited. Additional clusters of trees are taking root in suburbia, where social service organizations and faith communities have agreed to pass the harvest on to food pantries.
