Does anyone really believe there are so many people waiting for marijuana to be legal before they smoke it? It’s already practically legal in several states, and completely legal under state laws in two. It’s been legal to the extent that they sell it in shops and allow people to grow a little in the Netherlands since 1976, and a lower percentage of their populations smokes it than here. Most everyone who wants to smoke it here is already smoking it. Legalizing it isn’t going to hurt the alcohol industry much if at all.
