Given that conservative outlook, the shares are currently trading on a price-earnings (P/E) ratio of 14.1 times 2014 earnings. That makes Senior cheaper than aircraft engine maker Rolls-Royce at 15.3 and more expensive than Meggitt, the aircraft wheel and brake specialist, on 13.4. In other words, the shares’ P/E looks about right.
