Thanks to Coughlin, Reese, Manning and many others, things havenât been close to that bad around here since 2003, when the Giants ended the Jim Fassel era with an injury-filled 4-12 season. Even during Coughlinâs chaotic early years with the Giants, when players were revolting, the team was miraculously in contention most of the time.
