The final project of this course was creating a video that includes video clips of movies that have either made an impression on me, have inspired me, or bring back nostalgic memories. The music of the video consists of two songs that I made for the lab assignments in this course, in addition to an extra song that will be composed for a particular sequence of the video (middle section of the video), which will showcase techniques that were learned throughout this course. The concept was to syncopate the movie clips with the music I’ve created throughout the term (with the extra song I will create for the video), akin to a music video.

I believe that this concept succeeded since there is a cohesive element to the music that contains various moods and musical genres that translated well as a backdrop to the scenes being shown. I had never created a music video, but I did have some experience editing movies in iMovie. For this reason, this concept was both challenging and rewarding. Multiple music videos and movie scores were viewed to grasp the overall procedure to make a music video.
