Does anyone really believe there are so many people waiting for marijuana to be legal before they smoke it? It&#8217;s already practically legal in several states, and completely legal under state laws in two. It&#8217;s been legal to the extent that they sell it in shops and allow people to grow a little in the Netherlands since 1976, and a lower percentage of their populations smokes it than here. Most everyone who wants to smoke it here is already smoking it. Legalizing it isn&#8217;t going to hurt the alcohol industry much if at all.
