The piece seen below is an algorithmic work, making use of "open F tuning" on a standard 6 string guitar as the primary compositional tool. Acoustic drum tracks were enhanced with beat replacement techniques, and the electric bass tracks were left largely unedited. The file was then mixed down to 8-bit resolution, and bounced from Logic Express to Ableton, where a few 'poppy' synth melodies were added.
