What you are listening to is my final project for WPI's Digital Music Composition class. In this class the skills to use recording and music editing software are introduced. Such skills include; learning how to effectively use Ableton Live and how to use Max to map patches. The song is an original that I wrote. It is about being who you are and not taking anyone else's word for it(hens "I Am"). Normally I would have just recorded the raw vocals and acoustic guitar and have been done with the composition; however, with the use of Ableton Live I was able to add drums and bass to the track. Having taken this class I feel more comfortable with using digital software to help create my music. Hopefully now I'll be able to complete a semi-professional sounding CD.
