The most challenging parts of this project were coming up with ideas for the tracks and deciding on what effects to use. I have not written a lot of music, so I am still getting used to the songwriting process. That said I feel I succeeded in creating interesting and unique songs by focusing on one riff and expanding it across the 3 tracks. Determining what effects to use was tricky because I had so many options. I ended up using a phaser on the lead guitar and liking the sound, so I stuck with it across most of the tracks and tried to see how I could make it sound. | The most challenging parts of this project were coming up with ideas for the tracks and deciding on what effects to use. I created an EP containing three instrumental tracks that use a common pool of instruments. These instruments included a lead guitar, drum set, and bass guitar. My goal was to construct powerful and versatile presets that could be applied in unique ways to each of the three songs. Below is a video explaining the project.
Here are each of the songs. First is "New".
Next is "Waxing".
Finally is "Full".
