My Final project is a cover of Karma Police by Radiohead. I created this project using the Ableton software. I have always liked this song and wanted to create a stripped down cover of the song. I played the guitar myself, but all other instruments were made using MIDI and effects. The challenging parts of this project were writing the MIDI notes for piano, which took a lot of trial and error to get the sounds and effects right. Another challenge was recording the guitar using my computer, which does not have the best microphone. It took a long time to record a track that wasn't overpowered by reverb and string noise, and I accomplished this by putting a beach towel over my computer and using lots of audio effects.
