My goal for my final project was to take a video that shows me playing a complete 12 bar-blues piece by overdubbing myself to make rhythm, bass, accompaniment, and one or more lead tracks. I used my guitar playing abilities, my skills with MIDI, and my knowledge of DAWs to create this composition. As an additional goal, I hoped to learn how to make a good drum or rhythm track without actual drums using MIDI and how to be able to synchronize these tracks to create a pleasing auditory mix. In addition to the other parts of the project, I was able to learn how to video edit in creating the video of how I did each of these parts. The final product was intended to be some sort of Youtube like video that could show how the different parts were played and how the final mix came together.
