Cassandra Zimmerman Foundations of Music Technology

For my final project I plan on creating a collection of spoken poems with some form of rhythmic or musical accompaniments. My idea is stemming from Project 2, where my resulting audio file reminds me of what it sounds like to be inside of my head, which is something that I have a hard time explaining to people. I think that by creating something similar but with a "script" - the poem - I will be able to put forward more concrete examples of what I think. I'm going to create this in either garageband or audacity. I am more comfortable in garageband but definitely have a lot of skills to improve upon in the software itself. The deliverable will be a couple audio recordings. I currently have two poems I really want to do, but am thinking about a third. I want to learn just overall more skills on how to do things that will make my life easier when using this software. I will learn those by working through them, and looking up or asking how to do something that I don't understand.
