My final project is a way to record potentially infinitely long audio clips using a note by note recording process. This is potential useful if your composition is full of long strings of consecutive notes. The project allows you to record up to 10 different audio "tracks" and lets you play them in a manner similar to Ableton Live. The program waits until a cycle is completed before starting or stopping a track.

Playback Controls: Space starts the playback The A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, and ; keys control the playback of tracks 1-10 respectively.

Recording Controls: Keys 0-9 controls which recording slot you are writing to, with 0 being slot 10 and 1-9 being slots 1 through 9. Q Stops recording W starts Step By Step recording E starts "Realtime Recording"(unfinished)

The up and down arrow keys allow you to navigate through each step, letting you skip a note, or replay a note you messed up.

Other Controls: The program allows you to control the playback speed(Metro), adjust the length of the audio clips(Beats Per Loop), reset the step counter, and adjust the velocity, note duration and instrument of each individual audio track. You are able to open up the file for each audio track and edit them as you please. The format is Beat Number, Note Value; You can also clear out the contents of each file easily.
