This is my final project for Foundations of Music Technology (MU2300). I have always been intrigued by the idea of live performing electronic music, especially on camera in a desktop environment. Finding a way to record Ableton, however, has always been difficult. I was able to use the OBS Studio, a midi keyboard, a rock band microphone, and an old xbox live camera to record a live performance. I essentially go through the process of recording and layering a few loops. I also relied on the use of a few loop samples for drums.
Watch the full video for a demonstration, as well as some commentary about the difficulties and my reflections on the process.
