Project Description:
The goal for this practicum is to develop a system that will aid in the education and creation of music in the means of an electric controller. I would like the controller to be guitar-hero like with the added capability of teaching real guitar finger positions for chords and scales. Having most of my humanities background in music theory, I feel that it would be a great idea to help create a device that will facilitate further musical training with an advanced guitar hero controller. I am a guitar hero fan and I can say that the game has greatly improved my skills as a guitarist. If I could make a more advanced controller, I feel that I would be able to benefit even more from the use of such a device.
