The Car Telemetry Music Max patches allow the user to input data collected from a car in order to create music. The current patch is configured to accept: X, Y and Z axis accelerometer data, speed, and yaw (i.e body roll) measurements. The patch finds the magnitude of the accelerometer data and maps that to pitch, takes the speed and maps it to volume, finally the patch takes the yaw data and uses it to pan the audo between the left and right speakers. The purpose of this project was to turn the movement of an object much larger than a normal instrument and turn it into intresting music.
