I created this piece with one thing in mind soon after starting: Metroid. I am a huge fan of the metroid series and especially loved each game's soundtracks. I tried to make this piece sound like it would fit as background music for such a game, striving to create both a forboding and otherworldly sound. I just wish I could have come up with a real name for it.
