Mirror - Porter Robinson (Rock Cover)

For my final project, I sang and produced a cover of Mirror by Porter Robinson. I recorded the guitars myself and manually quantized the audio with Ableton's built-in warping tool. The synths were made from scratch with Sylenth1, while the strings are a sample library. My idea with the cover was to completely change the original style from synthpop into a blend of electronic and indie rock. The result is this fresh take on one of my favorite songs to come out this year.
