The days of using CASIO keyboards to sample sounds is over. Logic Pro X has a feature that allows for sampled sounds to become MIDI instruments. Why not turn something that isn't very musical into an instrument? A microwave isn't an instrument, but the beep and percussive sounds from hitting one allow for a drum set and synth lead to be created. All that was needed was a good song (I chose The Beatles' classic "Ob La Di, Ob La Da"), some EQ, and a microwave.
