My goal for my final project was to take a video that shows me playing a complete 12 bar-blues piece by overdubbing myself to make rhythm, bass, accompaniment, and one or more lead tracks. I used my guitar playing abilities, my skills with MIDI, and my knowledge of DAWs to create this composition. I planned to learn how to make a good drum or rhythm track without actual drums using MIDI and I was able to synchronize these tracks to create a pleasing auditory mix. I was also able to learn how to video edit to show how I did each of these parts. The final product is intended to be some sort of Youtube like video that could shows me playing and how it was accomplished.
