New page

===Final Project===
My composition aims to combine live recording with MIDI in order to create a peaceful harmony between two string instruments. Here, I fingerpicked a few chords on my guitar, and was recorded using a microphone hooked up to an audio interface. The drums in this composition were made using samples, which were then layered with EQ's and compressors to give it a tighter, more balanced feel. It was initially intended to be sung over, hence why it isn't as heavily processed and is rather peaceful. The different styles of fingerpicking helps set the pace, and the reverb slowly starts getting integrated towards the end, serving as a melodic ending.
