−	for my composition project, i wanted to get better at not only arranging, but also mixing. i tried to separate the frequencies in my mix as much as possible to avoid weird resonances and a muddy sound. i added a 20Hz cutoff to all tracks except my bass and had a group that sidechained most of the other channels to the kick and snare.

−	~~For~~ my ~~final~~ composition, ~~I decided~~ to ~~expand on a previous assignment and make it into a full song~~, ~~as when I originally made this song, there was a time restriction of 1 minute~~. ~~First, I made~~ the ~~melody a bit longer~~ as ~~the original melody felt~~ a ~~bit rushed~~. Other than that, I kept basically all of what I previously already had as the first part of the song. I made it a traditional AABA format, but slightly altered as the second A section is shortened and I added a ~~transition into the B section. I used more effects for this~~ to ~~distinguish it from the other sections by adding~~ a ~~filter~~ that ~~muted~~ the ~~sound.
