For my final project I plan to create a MIDI controller using an Arduino. I also plan on creating a physical controller that will be hooked up the Arduino that I can use to play notes, change octaves as well as other MIDI functions. The project will be split into X parts:

1.Physical Controller
Four musical note keys (capacitive touch)
Two push buttons to go up or go down an octave
One potentiometer

2.Arduino Controller
This will take it data from the physical controller and convert it to serial data to be sent to MAX.

3.Max Patch
This will function as a serial to MIDI Bridge and convert the controller’s serial data to MIDI data to be sent to a DAW.

4. DAW
Input MIDI data from the max patch
