The Max patcher I created generates mash-ups of songs comprised of the common progression I-V-vi-iv by randomly selecting samples from a library. The vocal tracks were recorded by me and the accompaniment track was created using Ableton Live. The patcher generates a new mash-up each time.

The songs I used were: Don't Stop Believin' (Journey), Wherever You Will Go by (The Calling), Pictures of You (The Last Goodnight), Let It Be (The Beatles), Africa (Toto), You're Gonna Go Far Kid (The Offspring), Superman (Five For Fighting), Adam's Song (Blink 182), Closing Time (Semisonic), Walking Disaster (Sum 41), Let Her Go (Passenger), Stop and Stare (OneRepublic), She Will Be Loved (Maroon 5), and Move Along (The All-American Rejects).

Please forgive my voice if the vocals are a little shaky--I was getting over two weeks of coughing when I recorded them.
